Apple makes some advancements in sustainability with their new MacBook and MacBook Pro. Both MacBooks achieve EPEAT Gold status, which means that they met all of the 23 required criteria and at least 75 percent of the optional criteria under their gold certification standards.

I've been wanting to switch over to Apple for a while now but just haven't been convinced it's going to be much better for me than PCs...looks nice though
i love my mac, but i've had it for 3 years and it's not nearly as green as the new ones. can't justify getting a new one now, but i know when the time comes, they'll be even better, more sustainable.
i've also been considering an iphone, but i can't bring myself to get a new phone until mine dies.
planned obsolescence will make it happen eventually!
